Welcome to my virtual
ballet company! Lemonade Hills
Civic Ballet is a virtual ballet company.
Anyone can participate in the company, whether you know how to dance or
not. There are many roles that you can take on- a dancer, teacher,
choreographer, composer (after all, we have to dance to music!), seamstress,
public relations, etc. There are many different factions that work
together to create a ballet company. To sign up for a role, email
me ([email protected]). Here are some things you have to remember-
Dancers
Depending on the level, dancers must take
the required amount of classes per week. Otherwise, they may not
participate in the performance. There will be a ballet company, hence
the name, but also, a competing group comprised of 6-8 dancers.
Choreographers
You have to have some idea of something that
you want to choreograph...a piece of music, storyline, or theme.
It's okay if you don't have a clue about dance, as long as you know what
you'd do with the dancers.
Teachers
Correct the students but don't yell at them
or blame them for something they did wrong. Also, you don't have
to have a clue about dancing, but just enjoy working with kids.
